Werf is a frame of exposed concrete with timber infill, designed so each floor can be one office or six. The timber shutters are moved by hand and replace blinds and most of the cooling.

Light from above

A tall central hall brings daylight to the middle of the deep plan and holds the stairs, so most people walk rather than take the lift.
