About the project

Notes

Diagonal timber lattice among trees

The shelter gives walkers and school groups a dry place to eat, learn and wait for the bus. Its diagonal lattice keeps the wind out but lets the forest in.

Pink concrete

The plinth uses crushed local stone in the mix, which gives it the colour of the sandy paths around it.
