The house sits between three oaks that could not be moved, so its plan bends around them. Living, kitchen and dining are one long room with a window seat along the whole garden side.

Timber throughout

A cross-laminated timber structure was put up in nine days. The cladding is untreated oak that will turn silver over the next few years.
